Ωστόσο, στα μειονεκτήματά τους θα βάζαμε πως χρειάζονται περισσότερα εξαρτήματα για να λειτουργήσουν αλλά και το ότι η φωτεινότητά τους φτάνει τα μέγιστα επίπεδα μετα από λίγα δευτερόλεπτα.
Led
Από την άλλη πλευρά έχουμε και τις λάμπες Led, οι οποίες σου παρέχουν ακόμα μεγαλύτερη φωτεινότητα σε σχέση με τις απλές λάμπες πυράκτωσης. Επιπλέον, σου παρέχουν μεγαλύτερη αντοχή στους κραδασμούς από τα Xenon και σαφώς η διάρκεια ζωής τους είναι μεγαλύτερη αγγίζοντας τις 30.000 με 50.000 ώρες. Ακόμα, με τις Led λάμπες έχεις ακαριαίο άναμμα σε αντίθεση με τις Xenon. Τέλος, τα συγκεκριμένα φώτα έχουν κατασκευαστεί με απλούστερη μορφή και κατ’ επέκταση λειτουργούν με πολύ λιγότερα εξαρτήματα. Επίσης και οι Led λάμπες είναι συμβατές με can-bus όπως και οι Xenon.
